ELEVEN AND A HALF YEARS

That’s how long it took for this sweet family to finally hold their first baby in their arms.

As you can imagine, after two miscarriages and what I’m sure felt like a lifetime of trying, the Hubbard family is elated to finally have their precious baby boy here with them!

For such a special baby, of course I wanted to make sure that we captured everything his momma could possibly want and more. So when she asked about bringing in a few items from home for his newborn session, I has more than happy to incorporate them for her.

This sleeper was bought for Killian by his grandmother and is important to his mommy because of the reason behind one of his middle names.

A few years ago, Jamie’s brother sadly passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident. She named her sweet baby boy after him, and wanted to make sure we captured an image showing off his sleeper for her mother.

The other two items we incorporated into his session in honor of his late uncle, were his high school football jersey and varsity jacket.

After we made sure to capture what was most important to his momma, we added her favorite color into the session. Dusty Blue!

And of course we couldn’t forget his Daddy’s favorite color, hunter green!

Then we went with a light grey to go with the decor they use in their home.

And we finished up the session by capturing their beautiful little family, together. I can’t even imagine the pure joy these proud parents feel when holding and looking at their handsome rainbow baby boy.

I’m sure those 11.5 long years of heartbreak and struggle have melted away now that sweet Killian is finally here with them.
