Babies like Jake are what make me LOVE what I do. It seems like everyone in our small town has been excited to meet this sweet little guy! His mom contacted me months ago to schedule his newborn session, so it felt like such a long time before I finally got him into my studio. 

I started Jake out wrapped in a beautiful cream wrap and handmade bonnet, that I made specially for his session. Then, because he was feeling so sleepy and secure while swaddled, the transition into a bowl for a few prop shots was effortless. 

Since he stayed in a peaceful sleep throughout his session, I was able to get through everything I had planned for his session. He even blessed us with some absolutely beautiful smiles! 

I couldn’t have asked for a sleepier or sweeter baby. He transitioned into unwrapped poses with little to no fuss and we got through a good variety of poses. He cracked smiles throughout his whole session it seemed. 

I’m so glad I got to meet this sweet boy and capture his newborn stage for his mommy and daddy. They chose to go with my reveal wall experience and went home with 13 beautiful, hand matted, folios. They’re going to look so stunning on the walls in his parents newly renovated farmhouse.
